The Save a Life Campaign including the involvement of L.I.V.E.S ( Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service)

BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Save a Life Campaign came to Louth recently through the support of Louth Swimming Club.

The Save a Life Campaign is an initiative supported by LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service), St John’s Ambulance and BBC Radio Lincolnshire after one of their newsreaders collapsed while out running. On learning about this initiative Lisa Roscoe, a parent of two swimmers with the Club, thought this would be an excellent opportunity for swimmers to receive compression only CPR (cardiopulmonary respiratory) training.
