Louth ‘Dolphins’ Swimming 2019 ‘Sportsman’s Week Gala & presentation and activities day

The event is in effect a second club camps and embraces Louth history of holding Sportsman’s Week events (the club believes they are the only one still using the original trophies)

The swimming events ran like clockwork thanks to the Clubs Events organiser Charlotte Elliott-Wright and a superb team around her of official and poolside helpers (if you are not involved you have no idea of the work that goes into an event!)

Mel Crowley

Mel Crowley, a stalwart of City of Lincoln Pentaqua SC as well as Lincolnshire ASA, sadly passed away on Tuesday 12th March. Mel will be sorely missed by her devoted husband Pat, her family, friends and many colleagues in the world of swimming, having been a familiar face to many of us for 30 years.

Mel had been involved in a number of roles over these years, a parent of swimmers, a proud mother and grandmother, a loving wife, and a loyal friend in addition to a number of committee positions and volunteer roles at County and Regional level as well as swimming meets across the East Midlands.

If anyone would like to share their condolences or memories of Mel, these can be passed to her family by emailing: secretary@pentaqua.org.
